20 May CDC Opens in Bournemouth – January 2015
We are delighted to announce the opening of a new CDC office in Bournemouth which will enable us to extend our offer to individuals with financial planning needs along the South Coast. Whilst our heritage is firmly embedded within the North East, we have long held ambitions to become a national provider of bespoke financial solutions and a presence in the South of England will be a significant step in starting to make that a reality. The new office will be headed by ex-Lloyds Private Banking Adviser, Robert Wright who lives in Christchurch and is well known to us.
When making appointments we are meticulous in making sure any new joiners meet the high professional standards we set, but just as importantly, they share the same values and goals as our own. We look for advisers who are passionate about delivering impeccable service to customers and this perfectly mirrors Robert’s philosophy, meaning he was a natural choice for us.
With over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry Robert had a number of options when it came to leaving Lloyds, but he explains why he chose CDC. ‘Whilst Lloyds has a long heritage of providing financial advice, the sheer scale of the organisation meant responding to the fast-paced nature of change within the sector became difficult. Moreover the number of customers I had to look after meant I could see each one less often. CDC’s model on the other hand, supports great service by limiting the number of customers each adviser looks after and this threshold is one of the lowest in the industry, meaning customers enjoy a more personal service’.
The new office opened officially on 1St January 2015 and we wish Robert well in developing the CDC brand in the South of England.
